Deteriorating Core Facilities
Constructed in the 1960s, some of the systems and equipment are original to NB Regional High School, including electric meters, boilers and transformers, among others. Those systems must be replaced, similar to an older home in need of new heating, cooling and electrical systems.

Water stains on the High School West gymnasium ceiling. The roof is close to 20 years old and due to be replaced. There is over 81,574 square feet of roof replacement needed on the High School West building.
24 Year Old Roof on High School West
24 year old roof with life expectancy of 15 years was due to be replaced in 2008. There is over 55,695 square feet of roof replacement needed on the High School West building.
Students Walking in Inclement Weather
Students must pass between the East and West building several times each day, regardless of the weather conditions. The connection between the buildings will eliminate this unhealthy and unsafe condition.
